Hairy, one of the first things that will draw your attention on this good-looking, sorrel gelding is his long, thick mane, and that is just how he got his name. In the earlier years of his life, he was ranched on, and was always one of the best. Hairy has been competed on in the team roping arena at all levels. He is quick footed, and always honest. Hairy is a very broke horse. Our children have loved riding him as well. We turn our five-year-old loose on him gathering cows and in the arena. He is great to shoe, load, haul and quite honestly he has seen it all. Hairy has never given us an ounce of trouble. He is one that is considered family, but with so many young horses we just aren’t using him as much as we used to, and would love for him to go to a good home.
