Ferdinand as we call him around the barn is a big, gentle giant red roan gelding! He has been an impeccable addition to our family. He’s been a horse that has helped our little girls in many milestones of their riding careers. Hands down he is the best confidence booster we could have. He is gentle for the little ones to catch, handle, saddle and most of all he has been a best friend for our children. He does all the JR rodeo events including goat tying, barrels, poles and flags. Ferdinand has been used in all aspects of ranch work, roped lots of cattle outside and some in the arena. Our kids are ready for their next step-up rodeo horse and we hate to see him go. But we know he could make another child’s dreams come true or even an adult to go trail riding on and enjoy themselves. He has no bad habits and is definitely one of a kind, don’t miss Ferdinand!
