Mates Rockin Ricky, aka Smalls, is an 8 year old gelding by Rockin W out of a Smartmate mare. He is a home grown finished cutter that has won over $27,000 in NCHA money. Smalls was 2019 NCHA Futurity Top Ten Amateur Finalist, 2020 Utah Cutting Horse Association Derby Co-Champion, and 2021 & 2022 $50,000 Amateur Yearend Reserve Champion. Smalls has been in the arena and a money earner competing in cutting and cowboy mounted shooting. Smalls also has been on several hunting trips and trail rides. Smalls loves kids. He can come straight out of the cutting pen and get cooled down by one of the kids. He can even change saddles and trot around the barrels with one of the kids and done with zero problems or issues. Smalls stands at 14.2 hands and around 1100 lbs. Even though we call him Smalls, don’t let his name and size fool you. He may be short, but he makes up for it by being a stout little dude.
