Spade is a gorgeous 5 year old solid black AQHA gelding. No only is Spade nice to look at but he is a pretty mover as well. Spade was started with a reining foundation and is very light in your hands and soft and supple throughout his body. Spade has very kind eyes and has an in your pocket type personality. This gelding has so many good qualities and gets better every time we swing a leg over him. He loves attention, and is easy for most anyone to ride him. He stands around 14.3 hands. Spade is no stranger to a days work and has been rode out on the trails, in the mountains and in the arena. Not only is Spade nice to watch in the arena but he knows how to maneuver his way around rocks, logs, brush, and other obstacles, and does it with ease. Spade rides with his head low, collects up nicely, picks up his leads, turns around nice and has a good stop to him. He lopes nice circles and you can ride him with or without the bridle. We have tracked the dummy with him and he does great. Spade is a gentleman to be around, has good manners on the ground and in the saddle. This nice gelding is no stranger to obstacle courses, whips, tarps, noodles, plastic bags, ropes, etc… he handles them all calmly and with ease. Spade is one of the favorites on the place. We have had many different riders on him and he handles them all with care. This gelding can go in any direction you want to take him. From the trails to the show pen he can do it all.
