“Chief” is a 5 year old palomino gelding. With his gorgeous color, long mane and tail, he is by far one of the prettiest horses on the ranch. With an outstanding pedigree going back to “skips premier”. Chief is always willing to learn and wants to impress his rider. Chief is ready to excel in whatever direction you want to take him. Whether that is in the team roping pen, or on the mountain to take care of your cowboying jobs. He has a lot of go and can handle the long hour days. Since chief does have a lot of go, I wouldn’t recommend chief for beginner riders, but he will get a long with just about anyone. Chief has been rode in the mountain, roping arena, the desert hills, and everywhere in between. I also enjoy riding chief while moving cows. Chief will stand good for the shoer with no problems. This horse is my loss and your gain. He is ready for someone to take him to his full potential.
