Makin Scotty is a 2017 AQHA gelding. He stands 16.3 HH. Scotty was born and raised on my place. His sire “Maknmoves” had a speed index of 95 and offspring earnings of 2.8 million dollars. Scotty’s dam is an own daughter of “Lanes Leinster” who had a speed index of 101 and offspring earnings of 1.8 million dollars. Scotty is bred to make a top barrel horse. He is a really smooth mover, has a nice neck reign, has a great stop and moves off leg pressure. He is easy to catch, load, haul and shoe. Scotty has been used during the hunts ponying horses and also as a pack horse. He is familiar with rough terrain and is sure footed. He has also been used to take inexperienced riders on trail rides.
