Horse Bio
Roo was foaled in 2018. He is very well bred with world Champions in his bloodlines. He is a very special horse, he loves people. I picked him up when he was 3, he was not hatler broke. I started working him in the round pen to get him haltered. Within a short time he was following me around. After playing with him for a bit, I put him in the trailer and brought him home. A few days later I put him back in the round pen, he didn’t forget anything. After a short time in the round pen at home, I was riding him bareback with a hatler. I didn’t have much time to ride him so I would just get a few rides in here and there. He was always a good boy, he never bucked or did anything Questionable. My boy decided he wanted Roo in his Graduation pictures, so after about 5 rides we used him for pictures and taught him to lay down. He did awesome! I didn’t ride him through the winter. The next spring I started riding him again. Tom called and said he wanted him home so he could use him as a stud. He bred him to one mare. When I finally got Roo back in the fall and put a few rides on him, he was so nice I started letting my grandkids ride him, which are ages 1, 3 and 5. Again, I didn’t get very many rides on him before winter. Then the next summer was the same story. He bred 4 mares, then I got him back. Even after all that he was incredible. I have trusted him with Unexperienced riders. Tom decided to keep a new stud colt and wanted to sell Roo. So with a heavy heart, I had him gelded. He is very smart and kind. He wants to please. I have been training him in reining and working on his roping skills. He is very soft in the mouth, and body. You will not find a kinder, or better horse. Roo has been trailered to and fro from Wallsburg to Coalville, and has been in Casual Rodeo arenas. He stands well for farrier, and is a favorite of everyone.
