Timmy has been with us since he was a yearling, started under saddle at 2 years. He comes with a great foundation and is patterned right in many speed events, barrels, poles, keyhole, and also has been around live cattle, jumped for fun and is a blast to race in skijoring. May we add, he looks great in an English saddle, too. Lightly shown in a western riding club, started tracking him on a sled, worked and flagged colts and showed that he could be a very handy rope horse. He’s been a steady mount out on the trails. If you are looking for a partner to take you up in the mountain he is confident about being ridden alone or in a group. He crosses logs, water, and will go anywhere you ask. Great to haul, stands tied, hobbled, picks up all 4 feet real nice, easy to bathe, and fun to ride bareback. He will also lay down on cue. We chose to put together this one nice and slow with an emphasis on correctness. He sells 100% sound and is a great size to work with. If you have big dreams and goals of doing cowboy/cowgirl work out on the ranch, competing in a show or exploring on the mountain trails this could be your guy! Would be best suited for a rider who is experienced in their horsemanship and can give this guy a job. He is eager to please and willing to do the work.
