Zip (Zippy) is a 10-yr old Shetland gelding. He stands 42 inches tall weighs about 380 lbs. He is a seasoned kids pony with experience in a variety of different settings such as the arena, giving rides on pony wheel, rodeos, parades, around town, and many trail rides. Zippy has been ridden under saddle with a bit or bareback and just a halter. He is also broke to drive single and team! Stands quietly when tied, trailers, baths, kids can handle all his feet, crawl under him or over him. Zippy’s current cowgirl doesn’t have a “need for speed” and he is happy to keep a nice steady pace for her. Together they won 1st place at the county fair walk trot class, and he carried her through her first solo barrel pattern at the western night rodeo. Zippy can easily keep up with the big horses and will ride wherever you put him whether that be in the front, middle, or back. He is gentle, kind, and cute!
