Gus has all the eye appeal and athletic ability you could ask for! At 9 years old, he’s the perfect age and his beautiful blue/bay roan coloring gets him noticed anywhere. He’s been used extensively on the ranch and feedlot. He has gathered cattle out of the pasture. He Opens and shuts gates with ease, crosses water and has a really nice country covering walk out on the trail. He is super kind and has a very willing attitude. He has a nice flat trot and an easy lope. He is super soft in the face and rides off your legs with ease. He really is a fun ride whether you are out on the mountain or in the arena. I can’t say enough nice things about this guy. He has roped the sled a handful of times and could easily be a nice rope horse. He has been ridden bridleless and really works off your seat. He is the first one to meet you at the gate and usually has his head hanging over waiting to be caught and ridden. He has great bone and nice feet, he’s great to shoe and we keep him barefoot in the winter. Gus is just an all around great guy and he’s ready to become a part of your family!
