Goose is a true unicorn that everyone is after. Not only is Goose a beautiful Buttermilk Buckskin, he is also a quarter draft cross. Although he has a little draft in him Goose has the build and comfort of a quarter horse. Goose is suited to be a good all around gelding that is the perfect gentleman for anyone that is just learning to ride all the way up to anyone who needs to go get a job done. Goose is in the prime of his live at 5 years old. He is calm, quiet, willing, and easy going when it comes to new things. He’s been exposed to tarps, whips, plastic bags, ropes, cars, flags, dogs, 4 wheelers… you name it and he’s probably seen it. Goose has a slow lope picking up the correct leads making him smooth and easy to ride. Goose is very forgiving of young riders making him even more of rarity when it comes to a horse you can trust to put anyone on. Goose has been ridden by all ages, and skill levels from novice to advance riders. This gelding has seen many miles up in the mountains, on the trails, or just out for a nice evening ride. Goose has also been used in a more upbeat environment. He has tracked and roped the dummy and is lightly started on heading and shows lots of potential if you choose to go that direction. Goose handles any situation like a true gentleman and always aims to take care of who’s on his back. Goose has a nice one hand neck reign, lopes on a loose rein, stop and back up with ease. Goose is an honest horse with the sweetest personality. He is always the first to meet you at the gate and loves the attention of little kids. Especially when he know he gets extra grain. Goose is a well seasoned gelding with a nice handle who does what’s asked of him and is the same horse every time you pull him out. He knows how to navigate all different terrain and is sure footed. Goose is also trained to come to a mounting block, tree stump or whatever you need for easy mounting and dis mounting. This gelding is one of our favorites. He will always catch someone’s eye and get you noticed. Goose is patient, has good ground manners and is a true unicorn. Horses like Goose don’t come around very often he’s a rare gem and as good as anyone could hope to find in a lifetime partner and friend.
