Boss is as sweet as they come and a dream to ride! This handsome boy has the looks and demeanor that everyone is looking for. Boss is very sweet to be around and has an in your pocket type personality. Not only does he have the looks but he rides around flashy too. We purchased Boss as a weanling and he has grown up in our program where he has been handled and made to be a gentleman. Boss is sure footed and knows where to place his feet when navigating different terrain. He has been rode on the trails, desert, around the ranch and in the arena. Boss has a very easy going personality and has been easy to train from the beginning. He is accepting of new things. Boss will come to a mounting block for easy mounting and dismounting. He is also sacked out to obstacles courses, pool noodles, tarps, whips, logs, tedder todder bridge, ATVs, dogs etc. He will lope nice circles on a loose rein, turning around nicely, and has a good stop on him. Boss is wise beyond his years and you wouldn’t think he is just 3 years old. He is the type of horse that if you know the basics you can get along with him. Boss has been on the dummy tracking and roping both ends. Boss comes from great stock. He has had many fully and half siblings that have gone on to compete competitively in Canada pro rodeo circuit. This gelding really is a clean slate with a great foundation to take him any direction. Although Boss has the ability to be competitive we have kept him on the quieter side for now. Boss loves attention, loves to be groomed and fed grain by the kids. We have also let our kids ride him around in the arena and around the ranch. We’ve give lessons on him, used him to pony colts, and give pony rides. Boss is a true gentleman with an amazing mind that wants to please and take care of who’s riding him. Boss is the real deal!! This gelding is one in a million and worth his weight in gold. He is well put together, has good bone, is straight and correct, and has good feet on him. He has your true ranch horse build and look to him. Boss is one of our favorites we’ve brought up. If you’re looking to show him off in the arena, make him a rope horse, go to events, do mounted shooting, use him on the ranch, or up the trails you can’t go wrong. He has the ability to go so many directions for any riding you choose to do. He’s AQHA registered and stands 15.1 hands with his beautiful blue roan color he is sure to get you noticed wherever you take him. He is easy to catch, will come to a grain bucket in a 40 acre pasture, good with his feet and to haul. Boss is one we are proud to offer.
